Syed Inzimam Ul Haq: Be patient, stay curious, and do not be discouraged by failed experiments
Under the supervision of Prof. M. Barták, Syed Inzimam Ul Haq is conducting his doctoral research on the photosynthetic activity of plants exposed to stress, using advanced biophysical methods, particularly in vivo chlorophyll fluorescence analysis, imaging techniques, and spectral reflectance. He is currently on a research fellowship in Finland (University of Turku), where he is investigating the role of singlet oxygen in the photoinhibition of photosynthesis and anti-stress responses at the levels of individual cells, leaves, and the photosynthetic apparatus.
